The West Cook Home Ownership Center can now provide financial assistance in the form of grants and forgivable loans through the West Cook County Housing Collaborative,the Cook County Neighborhood Stabilization Program, and other programs.
West Cook County Housing Collaborative Program: Home seekers interested in purchasing the rehabbed homes with new features as part of this program may qualify for financial assistance of up to $10,000 in forgivable loans and grants. Maximum household incomes must be at or below 80% of AMI (see chart below).
Neighborhood Stabilization Program: Home seekers interested in purchasing newly constructed homes as part of this program may qualify for financial assistance of up to $50,000 in forgivable loans and grants. Maximum household incomes are based on 120% of the Area Median Income.
Additional Incentives, Grants, and Loans are available on their own or as additional layers of support, including the Illinois Building Blocks Program and CityLift.
