The West Cook Homeownership Center (WCHC) is an initiative of The Oak Park Regional Housing Center (OPRHC). OPRHC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 1972 with a mission to achieve meaningful and lasting diversity in Oak Park and the surrounding region.
As a fair housing organization, OPRHC has promoted fair housing choices and opportunities for all persons protected by the Fair Housing Act and other fair housing laws. Since 2008, OPRHC has provided HUD-Approved homeownership counseling through the West Cook Homeownership Center. WCHC targets its marketing to low and moderate-income (LMI) households.
